This is a full time, first shift position, responsible for working with the TRT and operational teams for management of preventive & predictive maintenance plans in SAP, the creation and maintenance of job plans and job plans libraries, providing expertise in the PM Breakdown Elimination process and interfacing with the stockroom to ensure required parts are ordered and kitted correctly. Position is also responsible for understanding all PM processes and metric reporting in area of responsibility.
This position will remain part of the TRT teams and may be required to provide emergency coverage and/or asked to provide overtime support when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings with TRT TLS’s to deliver ready for scheduling jobs.
  • Lead efforts in estimating, planning, design layout, timelines, supplying subject matter experts and/or key project leaders, and required resources when needed.
  • Work with TRT, project sponsors, project leaders and the stockroom when needed to insure all parts and materials are available prior to scheduled work.
  • Create, maintain & manage preventive & predictive maintenance plans in SAP.
  • Create, maintain, & manage Annual Maintenance Calendars and monthly & weekly maintenance plans in SAP.
  • Team resource to analyze and solve complex technical problems
  • Create and maintain job plans and job plan libraries
  • Interface with the Stockroom to ensure required parts are ordered and kitted correctly
  • Ensure the is proper use of the work order system to ensure all labor and materials are charged to the correct cost centers or internal work orders and provide expertise in metric reporting.
  • Key responsibilities of this position are to meet all expected business objectives. 
  • This position will be subject to continuous improvement that may include expanding job responsibilities. 
  • Work autonomously and establish procedures and practices where needed
  • Ensure consistency with administration of all company policies, procedures and guidelines

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum of 3 years mechanical and/or electrical experience in a maintenance role.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • 3 years’ experience in the Maintenance TRT teams
  • Previous 2-3 years’ experience as a maintenance planner, scheduler or Team Lead
  • Organized and detail oriented; strong analytical skills
  • Mechanical/technical depth and planning skills
  • Proficient at using mechanical and/or electrical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Possess the ability and willingness to learn additional systems necessary to the success of the role.  Can work independently with software
  • Ability to recognize, analyze and solve complex problems
  • Ability to break down information and disseminate details
  • Ability to oversee “kitting” of parts
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers such as vendors, employees and the stockroom
  • Excellent performance and communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the organization.
  • Understanding of safety/environmental issues that impact job complexity/ duration
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Possess proven ability to accurately estimate labor and resource requirements
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and effectively coordinate daily/weekly work activities over multiple shifts
  • Not eligible for telecommute
