This role represents the Mold Management team in the LATAM region. This person supports the global mold procurement manager with all analytical reporting and RFP on molds in the region, as well as supporting a portfolio of spend and suppliers. This position requires strong personal initiative to identify opportunities and achieve aggressive business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track regional mold annual spend and a portfolio of mold suppliers.  Prepare detailed vendor, spend, and consumption analysis by extracted required data from SAP, eFAT, or other databases.  Use the analysis to support mold strategy, identify cost/cash/service improvement opportunities, negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value, work closely with business stakeholders, and present recommendations for management.
  • Prepare annual regional mold budget with cross-functional teams for mold replacement and refurbishment.
  • Represent mold procurement on mold-related project cross-functional teams in the region.
  • Assist global procurement manager and regional rigid plastics portfolio on mold contract preparation to maximize company’s benefits.
  • Support procurement managers on RFI/RFPs.
  • Work with plastics portfolio and procurement operations, global/regional engineering, quality, and RD&E.
  • Update and communicate regional department reports.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Advanced level of English
  • Attention to detail maintaining accurate data entry with an understanding of source data.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Supply Chain/Project Management experience preferred.
