This position reporting to the Lean Excellence and Project Management Associate Manager ACT will be responsible for identifying and delivering improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of Logistics in ACT region, working closely with Logistics Operations team and the Transportation team.
Be the home for governance & control
Track measures, report progress against plan
Manage documentation, maintain, control & update program documentation
Assist the program manager with budget control for the program, maintain status reports on all projects
Track risks & issues
Responsible for ACT Logistics Performance reporting & support the root cause analysis, and identify corrective measures to achieve KPIs.
Maintain strong Performance Management System for service
Lead cost savings program workstream in the Region
Master Operational Excellence/Continuous improvement/Lean capabilities & integrate the mindset in Logistics Team
Drive the Lean Program Growth
Standardization of processes across the region
To work on Cost to serve analysis to establish data visibility and identification of possible improvements
To Lead/support Projects resulting in cost/time savings or service improvement applying Lean Methodology
Provide support & guidance to the project teams ensuring a common approach is adopted and good practices are shared
To partner with Procurement in tender processes for major LSP tenders, support business requirements collection, proposals evaluation and support transitions
Partner with Customer Supply Chain to ensure the business priorities are delivered in Logistics Operations
Support Logistics Team with Analytics to improve today’s operations
Support Management Team with creative solutions for Presentations/Reviews
Bachelor’s degree or greater in a Logistics / Supply Chain or Engineering field.
Minimum 3 years operational experience in Logistics or Supply chain (warehousing, transportation or managing 3PL/4PL providers).
Experience with PC based project management tools including MS Project, Visio, MS Word, MS PPT and MS Excel. Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau and Macros would be a big plus. Lean experience and project management are considered a must.
Proven Experience with Project management, process improvement, optimization and Lean mindset.
Arabic and English fluent.
Strong analytic Skills & financial data acumen; the ability to work with big data sets and illustrate findings in a visual and easy to understand way.
Capable to work with virtual cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Passionate leader with high energy & ability to work effectively across a complex organization to drive change & deliver results.
