Associate Manager, Supply Planning

This position reports to the manager of Logistics and leads the North American Deployment Team. The deployment team consists of deployment planners and vehicle sizers who are responsible for ensuring inventory gets the correct location at the correct time cognizant of cost

This individual has daily deployment rituals and routines focused on executing inventory movements to deliver for our consumers cognizant of cost. Additionally, the deployment lead ensures the deployment team is tied into North America rituals and routines to drive agility in decision making. This rituals and routines are Daily CFR, OTD and more.

The deployment team lead is focused on improving North America KPIs that consist of; buffer bypass, truckload utilization, OS (Outside Storage) inventory, re-deployment log management, past due PGI/PGR, sub con deployment. Pending Actions on the Redeployment Log

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for inventory distribution across the NA network while taking into consideration network constraintsandmaximizeservice levels. 

  • Manage distribution and vehicle load optimization for Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods.

  • Reviews key performance metrics and service levels reportingand is responsible for providing root causes and actions for: 

  • Deployment Supply Shortage

  • Deployment Gap to Safety Stock

  • Planned & Actual Deployment Above Max 

  • Supportsspecific business unit (Pest Control, Home Cleaning, Home Storage, Air Care, LSB) S&OE inputs while drivingcontinuous improvement effortsfor the deployment planning team. 

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • University Degree and 5-6 years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 3-5 years relevant experience.

PreferredSkills / Experience / Competencies:

  • UniversityDegreeinSupply Chain or Analytics.

  • People Management experience.

  • Ability to motivateothers; keep teams working well together.

  • Operate inadynamicandcomplexenvironment.

  • Experience gathering, organizing, and evaluating financial data to support business decision making.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.

  • Proven, successful track record showing steady increase in responsibilities.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and make meaningful contributions to a team. Ability to influence, lead projects and effectively collaborate to achieve objectives and produce results.

  • Familiarity withSAP; APO, ECC, BW.

  • Ability to implementand drive rituals and routines.

Job Requirements:

  • Full time position based in Chicago, IL.

  • Up to 10% Travel.
