Supply Chain, Corporate Initiatives Lead

This position will focus on North America strategic agenda development and execution, working closely with regional functions to evaluate opportunities around capability building, cost optimization programs, sourcing network design/optimization in alignment with global strategy, and identification/execution of our transformational top initiatives project. The right individual will bring confidence and high learning agility to a dynamic and changing environment and partner with the leadership team to deliver its transformational agenda. 

Primary Accountabilities:

Partner with regional functional team to identify opportunities to enhance our E2E capabilities from system, tools, organizational design and training perspectives

Collaborate with HR and NA Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT) to identify our strategic pillars, in alignment with global strategy, and associated workforce strategy

Collaborate with NA cross functional team to identify/execute North America cost optimization program to deliver on our financial objective and fuel the growth

Develop/maintain a robust governance around our cost optimization program to ensure on-time delivery

Maintain clear understanding of SCJ strategic goals (currently, Strategy 2021).  Understand the impact of major workstreams from all areas of SCJ on the goals

Lead Key projects and initiatives through end-to-end project management process, ensuring deliverables, success criteria and timing is clear and executed.  Identify when process or principles deviations may occur and initiate trade-off and escalation discussions.

Work closely with key Global Supply Chain, Commercial, and NA SCLT stakeholders to align on regional top initiatives and lead the development of scoping documents and project prioritization discussions

Work collaboratively with Global Supply Chain /Global Sourcing on the development and execution of regional sourcing/distribution network optimizations

Partner with procurement and regional Supply chain functions to define regional make vs buy strategies

Act as the regional contact for global sourcing activities – deep dives, reviews and implementations

Provide leadership and/or the SCJ single-point-of-contact for consultant-led initiatives; i.e. competitive benchmarking, ensuring effective communication within SCJ

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering related field and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and three years of relevant experience

Must be able to travel 20% domestic and internationally
