Role summary:

Currently we are looking for a Demand Planner to join our Central Europe Team in Germany reporting to the Manager, Demand Planning. Our demand planners are key stakeholders of our S&OP process. In this role you will be responsible for preparing our demand forecast for a specific group of countries in close collaboration with our sales, marketing and finance teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze past/future demand inputs

• Prepare short term and long term product demand forecasts for assigned categories and channels using statistical forecasting methods and based on marketing and customer assumptions.

• Measure and report demand planning KPI’s  (e.g. forecast accuracy, case fill rate, forecast bias)

• Work with various cross-functional partners on projects such as new product launches, discontinuations, and process improvements (e.g.local sales, marketing, supply planning)

• S&OP process support for the central cluster

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain / operations management; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ years of supply chain or demand planning experience required

• Experience working in the FMCG industry

• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts

• Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving ability

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

• Preferably with experience in SAP APO

• Experience in S&OP process

• Fluent English skills
