Technical Specialist, Graphics (Temporary)
Mexico City, Mexico Job ID 22895 ApplyThis position is accountable for managing the day-to-day operation of the graphics process, using Esko’s WebCenter project management tool and supporting SCJ systems, such as, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. This role manages a high volume of graphics projects, working closely with internal SCJ teams, the Global Graphics Specialists and pre-media agencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Graphics Specialist will:
- Be responsible for flawless creation of local packaging labels and shipper cartons
- Act as central project lead between cross-functional SC Johnson team (Marketing, Regulatory, Packaging Engineers, Quality, etc.), pre-media agency and translation services
- Develop expertise with graphics systems, tools and process, operating in a consultative manner, to become known as the “go-to” person for graphics.
- Actively facilitate and manage project deliverables and information for all tasks related to artwork completion.
- Proactively obtain project information from systems and cross-functional teams, to create “fit for use” packet handoffs that will enable pre-media agencies to develop graphics right the first time.
- Assist with the development of project timelines and prioritize the work accordingly.
- Upload project data and due dates into designated workflow tool, WebCenter
- Maintain project status reports and metrics and participate in project status/planning meetings.
- Manage lead-time expectations for artwork, prepress and eCommerce imagery for on-time delivery.
- Participate in or lead hand off, kickoff and review meetings with Global GrSS, cross-functional teams and pre-media agency.
- Manage artwork approvals in WebCenter, summarizing required changes for the pre-media agency.
- Participate in post-production meetings to review completed packaging projects and compile learnings to help improve process.
- Identify opportunities for and assist in business process improvement.

Job Requirements:
This is a full-time first shift position. There may be a need to periodically attend off-shift MS Teams calls to interact with the global GrSS team.
