As the Associate Manager, Portfolio and Process Analytics, you will curate data elements and attributes to design and develop reporting and analytics products in support of performance management within the IT Governance and Architecture function. You will take advantage of data reporting and analysis services used to mine enterprise systems and applications for knowledge and information that enhance technology business processes.
You will play a key role collaborating with leaders and stakeholders across the Governance and Architecture functions to develop and deploy analytics, metrics that matter and support process improvement activities in an effort to drive improved decision making specific to governance, portfolio management, project deliver, performance, value and benefits. Additionally, in this role you will collaborate across the IT organization in support of driving continuous improvement specific to delivery of IT products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and continuously improve reports to support IT governance, portfolio, program and project management services
Devise, develop, and deploy required data queries in response to business user needs
Identify research questions, problem solve using data analysis, and communicate the results to various stakeholders
Collaborate with functional leaders, end users, development staff, and other stakeholders to integrate data management applications with existing systems
Analyze user requirements for reports, forms, queries, and data extraction
Audit portfolio, program and project management services to ensure compliance with standards, best practices and defined processes
Create and maintain a repository from which metrics and reporting can be derived
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
Lead and participate in technical improvement projects implementing new processes, and technologies using SCJ project management technologies
Proactively identify and implement process improvements within the IT governance function
Proactively work with Global Portfolio Management Office to support articulating value that the portfolio delivers as well as outcomes and results

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or relevant military experience considered in lieu of degree requirement
5+ years of IT experience
3-5 years of experience as a project coordinator, analyst, manager or portfolio manager
3-5 years of experience in project delivery approaches (waterfall, agile, iterative, etc)
3-5 years of experience in the development/maintenance of KPI, OKR related dashboards and reports leveraging tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Understanding of technology enablement for communication with a business acumen lens
Have strong, effective consultative and facilitation skills
Keen attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong customer service orientation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Project management experience
Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
Job Requirements:
Full time with occasional operational support outside core business hours
Ability to travel when conditions return to normal ~10%
Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
