Global Brand Marketing Manager, Fragrance Strategy

Summary:

  • The Global Brand Marketing Manager, Fragrance Strategy will provide product leadership and consultation to deliver the brand’s mission to consumers in all markets. 
  • They will develop the right initiatives for their portion of the brand while also supporting the overall brand objectives
  • They will collaborate closely with regional and global partners across many functional areas

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set brand’s fragrance growth strategy for the globe to drive net sales, margin, and share results
  • Co-lead cross-functional team with Consumer Insights and R&D to identify consumer needs and long-term pipeline to address those needs
  • Collaborate with regional team to assure a relevant and business-driving cadence of news
  • Work with various functions including Legal, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and others to shape initiatives that meet both consumer and internal requirements
  • Act as a key member of the Fragrance Design Center, focusing on partnering with our Fragrance Houses (external) to develop our fragrance innovation, including briefing for formulation to quality, cost, story background.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years’ relevant experience, or minimum 5 years’ experience and advanced degree required
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in consumer products 
  • Experience in commercialization of new products, line extensions, or product changes

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Global experience 
  • Experience working with Fragrance Houses is highly desirable
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Passion for innovation 
  • High sense of urgency
  • Ability in and tolerance for working well with ambiguity 
  • Demonstrated team leadership and development

Job Requirements:

  •  Full time
  •  Some travel may be required but <5%
  • 4x/year sales meetings requiring local overnight stays
