The Manager, Procurement Operations Lifestyle Brands (LSB) will initially lead several high-profile Procurement initiatives to strengthen the foundation and performance of the Procurement Operations team.  Over time, this role will play an important role in LSB innovation and supply reliability of direct materials to support LSB’s growth pipeline as well as customer service targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the implementation of several key procurement initiatives: Turnkey model implementation, Supplier Relationship Management (including Service Level Agreements) and asset tracking via eFAT

  • Build needed capability within the team to ensure supply / material availability at North America manufacturing plants / 3PMs through execution of SCJ’s Supplier Relationship Management program

  • Lead supply process optimization (eg. MOQ, inventory, lead time optimization)

  • Drive cost savings & cash improvement through implementation of sourcing strategies/negotiations and operational improvements

  • Key Procurement leader in LSB S&OP & S&OE routines

  • Support LSB new product development projects including participation in OTTW and various NPD project meetings. Drive improvements to how suppliers are engaged in LSB NPD projects

  • Support the annual inflation process

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement

  • 7+ years of Procurement management experience in contract manufacturing, packaging, or raw materials

  • 3+ years of experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • MBA or other Master’s Degree

  • Procurement or supply chain experience within Consumer Goods Industry  

  • Strong knowledge and proven success in negotiation, sourcing methodologies, and launching innovation

  • Proven track record in building relationships and strategic alliances internally and externally with a focus on collaboratively influencing teams to meet objectives

  • Strong interpersonal communication, organization and analytical skills

  • Strong Financial Acumen and Stakeholder Influencing Skills

  • Ability to think strategically and objectively with an aptitude for building viable action plans

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and under tight timelines

  • Ability to analyze and assimilate relevant data into recommendations and decisions

  • Ability to manage ambiguity

  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally and interface with multiple levels of both internal and external organizations

Job Requirements:

  • 15% travel possible

  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
