SCJ APAC logistics had embarked upon a long-term strategic project to optimize its distribution network and own the transition of DCs wherever required. APAC logistics started Genesis team in 2018 to optimize the supply chain process and manage strategic initiatives implementation through network studies. The team plays a leading role from ideation, evaluation, approval, and transition stage for both warehousing and transportation. Genesis has expanded its role to drive the technology adoption in APAC Logistics by evaluating upcoming applications to support higher visibility of the operations and increase automation in data analysis.

The role will have the entire APAC region in scope.

• Be Part of Genesis team for SCJ APAC Logistics strategic initiatives evaluation and implementation
• Accountable for completion of any RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, working alongside with Logistics Procurement & Logistics Finance team – creating RFQ package, analyzing vendor proposals and providing technical and financial comparison for business to take the right decision. NEGOTIATION NOT IN SCOPE
• Lead any Warehouse or Transportation transition projects using SCJ transition framework
• Conduct network optimization studies in the region, working with either internal or external SCJ partners
• Evaluate new tools / software in accordance with digitization agenda of the company
• Lead any Ad-hoc analysis of operational data and identify cost saving opportunities
• Work with Lean Logistics team to maintain and upgrade the operational data for Logistics
• Develop the team capability in Logistics especially in the analytical thinking and project management.

Requirement :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• 5 years of work experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, preferably in FMCG/Consulting industry, dealing with optimization/automation projects

• Excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – A must have

• Advanced MS Excel knowledge, preferably working knowledge of macros and VBA programming

• Prior experience in network modeling tools, LEAN or process improvement is preferable

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects running at the same time

• Good communication and Project Management skills

• Advance Power Apps, Power BI, and other Automation tools will be strongly encouraged.
