Summary:
As Sr. Analyst, Accounting is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely completion of statutory financial reporting and regulatory compliance for assigned legal entities, including annual audited financial statements and required government or Central Bank reporting. The role serves as a key financial control partner by maintaining audit-ready evidence, strengthening contract and T&E compliance, and supporting tax audits, objections, and appeals with statutory accounting documentation. The role also leads assigned corporate governance and entity-streamlining initiatives through disciplined project planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk management. In addition, the position supports FP&A by translating financial data into variance analysis, scenario assessments, forward-looking implications, and management insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the preparation and timely completion of annual audited financial statements for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), company accounting policies, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory audits and regulatory reviews by preparing complete, accurate, reconciled, and audit-ready schedules and supporting documentation; proactively resolve or escalate accounting issues before reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and coordinate required regulatory reporting, including KPPK, SiMoDIS/Central Bank, BKPM, KYC, and other assigned statutory submissions, with zero avoidable late filings, penalties, or warning letters.
- Maintain strong reconciliation and traceability between management books, statutory books, audited financial statements, regulatory submissions, and supporting schedules; identify material discrepancies and drive root-cause remediation.
- Establish and maintain contract compliance governance, including a complete contract register, approval and signature evidence, validity monitoring, financial obligation tracking, and periodic control self-assessment to support GIA/SOAR readiness.
- Act as the T&E compliance SME and strengthen preventive, risk-based controls through policy education, system or process controls, exception analytics, targeted review, trend monitoring, and root-cause remediation.
- Support Tax Audit, Tax Objection, and Tax Appeal processes by providing complete and defensible statutory accounting evidence, reconciliations, historical accounting treatment, and clear traceability from source documentation to the general ledger and audited financial statements.
- Lead or support assigned corporate governance and other Finance projects using disciplined project planning, milestones, scheduling, RAID (Risk-Action-Issue-Dependency) tracking, stakeholder coordination, and proactive escalation of risks and dependencies.
- Support FP&A and management decision-making through variance analysis, balance sheet and cash-flow insights, financial scenario analysis, assigned business cases, and clear explanation of financial drivers, risks, opportunities, and forward-looking implications.
- Develop concise management-ready financial analyses and recommendations, progressing from reporting what happened to explaining why it happened, what it means, what may happen next, and what management action is recommended.
- Continuously identify opportunities to simplify and strengthen financial processes, controls, documentation, and exception-based monitoring, reducing reliance on manual review where practical.
- Build effective cross-functional relationships with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, business stakeholders, SSC teams, external auditors, advisers, and regulators, while independently managing priorities and commitments within agreed timelines.
