Associate Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis - Sales

The role involves partnering with Country Managers, Sales Teams, and Marketing Teams within the cluster to drive Net Sales and Product Contribution growth. The incumbent will improve Net Pricing by collaborating on Joint Business Plans, accurately forecast and deliver on growth objectives, and support the Sales Team in SOP. Additionally, the role includes providing ROI analysis on trade spend, establishing conditionality of customer terms, and developing customer profitability analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Cases: Provide strategic business cases financial simulation and analysis.
  • Price Promotion ROI Analysis: Prepare and manage price promotion ROI analysis.
  • Trade Spending Optimization: Optimize trade spending and customer/country mix by analyzing trade spending plans with the Sales team to maximize delivered profit margin and net pricing, and reduce gross to net. Provide P&L simulation for business decisions, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Month-End Closing: Reconcile trade spending at month-end closing and ensure accuracy of trade spend and proper accrual.
  • Financial Projections: Responsible for gross sales to DPM month-end closing, prepares monthly S&OP P&L projections, quarterly financial latest estimates, and annual corporate planning and budgeting.
  • Accounts Receivables: Work with the SSC A/R team, Credit & Collections Analyst, and local Sales Teams to minimize accounts receivables and facilitate timely resolution of open deductions and outstanding invoices.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Lead ASEAN ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or its equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in Finance, preferably in FP&A (Or Commercial Analyst/Brand Analyst)
  • Experienced in SAP, Excel (Micro, Pivot table, VLOOKUP etc.) and Power BI
  • interpersonal skills – Drive to excel, good communication to build rapport with Business Partner
  • Teamwork ; Business Partnering ; Commercial Finance background
  • Always work in the team & liaising with Sales team.
  • Travel maximum (25%).
  • Past working experience in FMCG industry / Pharmaceuticals
  • Fluent in English (both written & verbal)
