Overview:
This role serves as a strategic link between marketing and sales across the ASEAN region. It is a mission-critical position focused on aligning commercial execution with brand strategy, ensuring cohesive and effective campaign implementation across all retail touchpoints.
5 direct reports with total team of 20 across 11 ASEAN markets and 3 categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution:
- Lead development and execution of 360° campaigns across ASEAN
- Define and track clear KPIs of campaign success
- Drive cohesive brand execution across touchpoints and channels
- Own and enforce guidelines for Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, and Promotions
- Direct and coach team as the ‘subject matter expert’ on in-store conversion based on shopper insights research
- Own and execute the promotional advertising budget (below the line)
Stakeholder Alignment:
- Act as strategic interface between:
- Country Sales Directors
- Marketing Director (ASEAN)
- Marketing Category Managers
- Challenge non-aligned initiatives and call-out missteps proactively
- Lead the marketing inputs of the demand forecasting process
Process Improvement:
- Oversee overhaul of campaign planning frameworks and campaign launch timelines
- Introduce and enforce best practices around campaign development, pre-launch planning, and execution control
People Leadership:
- Ensure team is driving the strategic execution in each market
- Develop direct reports for key leadership positions in sales, marketing or customer marketing
