Associate Manager, Retail Account Management

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Accountable end to end of the SKUS assigned for Clubs account (Sam´s & Costco).

  • Responsible for the profit and sales growth of Clubs business.

  • Plays a key role in coordinating product availability with Supply Team, through collaboration in Predemand, Forecasting and Control Tower processes.   

  • Generate strong relations / influence with buyers and assistant buyers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute joint business plans (JBP) to achieve sales, profitability, and market share goals.

  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth through market analysis, identifying opportunities, and aligning with client strategies.

  • Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with key client stakeholders as the primary point of contact.

  • Negotiations: Lead annual pricing, trade terms, and promotional agreements to deliver mutual value.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales, share of market, and promotions, providing actionable insights to drive results.

  • Collaboration: Partner with customer/trade marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure smooth execution of strategies.

  • Inventory Management: Support accurate forecasting and optimal stock levels to meet client and consumer needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, with 3–5 years in key account management or sales in consumer goods for key customers: Clubs, Walmart, Chedraui or Soriana.

  • Proven success managing sales accounts and leading contract negotiations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or analytics tools (e.g., Nielsen, SAP, Tableau).

  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, share of market, and promotional ROI.

  • Advanced English

  • Once-weekly remote work for eligible employees

  • Contract for an Undetermined Time

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
