ABOUT THE ROLE

  • The Senior AR Analyst will be responsible for cash reconciliations and collections within a high-volume, team-focused environment, managing numerous invoices and titles while ensuring adherence to corporate credit and collection policies.

  • This role involves reconciling accounts receivable, including unapplied cash and customer accounts, to ensure accuracy and facilitate cash collections.

  • They will contact customers via phone and email to investigate reasons for overdue payments, review sales, service, or contract terms, and resolve issues.

  • Additionally, the Analyst will record, and update information related to financial status, reconciliation, and collection efforts in a timely manner.

  • This role will provide valuable insights and resolutions regarding receivables and contribute to the design and testing of system and process enhancements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and follow up collection of outstanding customer accounts through identifying and addressing non-payment issues with customers, offering guidance on complex matters such as short-pays, credits, and open invoices to facilitate resolution.

  • Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits.

  • Maintain collections for customers/clusters/business units and ensure the timely collection of all types of invoices, credit reports, and analysis/reviews.

  • Monitor accounts and manage the day-to-day operations with a share service team.

  • Reports for kpi’s, internal and external audits.

  • Assist and guide the audit reporting process alongside the main stakeholders.

  • Communicate and work to resolve complex issues and effectively handle difficult customer invoicing requests to maximize productivity, payment resolution and effectiveness.

  • Manage and receive business-to-business collection calls and assist with incoming customer payment claims

  • Analyze disputes alongside sales and share service teams.

  • Prepare a report on the status of collection activities.

  • Ensure that collections targets are met or exceeded monthly aiming to accomplish with the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), & Overdue reports (Month-YTD-YTG)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Preferably knowledge in customer portals

  • Advanced proficiency in English.

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Account Receivables reconciliations/Collections.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field is preferred.

  • Experience in SAP ERP preferred.

  • Complete understanding of the Order to Cash process

  •  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time

  • Once-weekly remote work for eligible employees

  • Contract for an Undetermined Time

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
