ABOUT THE ROLE

  • The Senior Sales Manager (Modern Trade) is a member of the Mexico Commercial Team is in charge of retail, regional, price club and convenience store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead multifunctional teams (sales, Mkt, trade Mkt, Finance, Demand Planning) dedicated to accelerating growth in the modern trade, accountable for P&L of these channels. Accountable to forecast and deliver sales volumes. Responsible to develop those plans for year-on-year growth.
  • Customer Engagement. Recognize the strategic agenda with our top customers and collaborate internal & external to drive mutual growth.
  • Supervise three National Sales Mangers, providing support and guidance to ensure successful execution of organizational strategies and priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with National Sales Managers to achieve the company’s strategic objectives and drive sales performance.
  • Compliance with established KPIs
    • Net Sales
    • P&L
    • Growth (Sell Out, Margin, DDI)
    • Market Shaer

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Team Leader for Grupo Walmex 
  • Advanced English
  • Led national accounts: Soriana, HEB, La Comer, Chedraui, etc.
  • Experience in personnel management

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic thinking and ability to drive sales performance improvement
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Results-orientation and analytical thinking.
  • Customer orientation Ability to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Delegate and guide
  • Leads/supervises a work team that could comprise a mix of professional, technical and/or administrative staff

  • Full time
  • Must be able to travel domestically >25%
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience leading commercial teams in mass consumption companies.
  • This role is not eligible for relocation
  • Once-weekly remote work for eligible employees
