Senior Analyst, Logistics Operations Western Group
Location : Asnières-sur-Seine, France
Overview :
As a key member of the Western European Logistics team, the Senior Analyst for Logistics Operations supports the strategic management of system integrity, inventory performance, and transport operations across France, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal. This role exists to enhance visibility and control over regional logistics performance, with a strong emphasis on data-driven insights, cost efficiency, and service excellence. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders and 3PL providers to ensure alignment with service targets and budget expectations.
This role reports to the Associate Manager for Logistics Operations West Europe and is part of an international team identifying operational gaps, executing continuous improvement initiatives, and driving compliance across the logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced data analysis to support logistics KPIs, performance metrics, and budget adherence across the Western European markets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Ensure end-to-end inventory accuracy and integrity, including quality control, compliance (e.g. dangerous goods), product expiration, obsolescence, returns, and seasonal stock.
- Develop and maintain supply chain reports and dashboards, optimizing through tools like Excel VBA, Power Query, and SAP.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for logistics and quality-related operational issues internally.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Customer Finance, Fulfillment, and Sales to troubleshoot and optimize daily logistics processes.
- Manage and monitor third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships; alignment on service levels, cost targets, and compliance.
- Lead regular performance reviews with transport vendors to measure service providers; identifying and driving action plans for improvement.
- Oversee capacity planning and risk mitigation for warehousing in coordination with planning teams.
- Support strategic supply chain initiatives aimed at contributing to regional projects focused on network optimization and digital transformation.
Experienceyou’llbring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Fluency in French and English is required; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable
- Demonstrated 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations; ideally in a multinational or regional environment
- Proven analytical mindset with strong financial acumen around budgeting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA), Power Query; experience with data visualization tools and AI.
- Solid experience working with ERP systems preferably SAP
