Senior Associate, Category Management
Location: Czech/ Prague
Function: Category Management
Overview
In your CATMAN role you will be closely collaborating with sales team to continuously optimize our portfolio and placement on customer to ensure growth and profit delivery. You will be working with customer and market data, monitoring trade and your work will be crucial in identifying trends and opportunities that will support our growth and success.
Responsibilities
Planning and optimizing product placement in stores to maximize visibility and sales (shelf space management, planogram preparation, providing recommendations on portfolio optimization)
Designing secondary placements (preparing displays composition selecting the right mix of products, positioning them strategically, and ensuring that the displays are visually engaging)
Monitoring market trends, competitors’ behavior, analyzing insides of Nielsen and customer data, evaluating promo activities and Its impact on business and providing well-founded recommendations to the sales teams and managers.
Preparing customer presentations and trade narratives for annual negotiations
Collaboration with customer category management departments (if possible)
Supporting financial team by providing proposals for adjusting regular and promotional prices based on price monitoring on customer level
Internal cooperation with marketing, sales team, demand planning team, supply chain and finance
Experience you’ll bring:
Completed degree in economics or comparable studies
Over 2 years of experience in Category Management
Knowledge of the national trading market
Good MS Office (esp. Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of SAP R3 esp. Business Warehouse and APO advantageous but not essential
Fluent in Czech and English.
