Location: Frimley, Surrey
Function: Customer Financials – EMEA Shared Services Centre (SSC)

Role Overview
Based within SC Johnson’s EMEA Shared Services Centre, the Associate Manager, Customer Financials is responsible for leading a multi-country team to deliver high-quality customer financial operations. The role ensures strong customer service, accounting compliance, and achievement of key performance indicators, while acting as a key liaison between the SSC and local Sales and Finance teams
Key Responsibilities
People & Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team through coaching, performance management, and talent development
- Manage resource planning, workload distribution, performance, and employee relations
- Drive engagement, inclusion, and a culture of trust aligned with SSC values
Operational & Functional Leadership
- Ensure timely resolution of customer claims and adherence to agreed service level agreements
- Coordinate effectively with Sales and Finance to ensure accurate documentation and issue resolution
- Analyse performance against targets, escalate risks, and support delivery of SSC objectives
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build strong partnerships with local subsidiaries and internal stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution and escalation
- Influence adoption of standardised processes and best practices
Process Excellence & Controls
- Champion continuous improvement using LEAN/OPEX principles
- Maintain robust internal controls and support internal and external audits
- Identify and mitigate operational risks
Experience & Skills
- Fluent English plus an additional European language
- Proven experience in customer financials, sales finance, or customer service within a multinational environment
- Demonstrated people management experience in diverse, multicultural teams
- Strong stakeholder management, change resilience, and a results-driven mindset
