ABOUT THE ROLE
The TOPS internship provides the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks. The work is project based and will afford the intern contact with personnel from various disciplines within SC Johnson. The assignment that will be given to interns is driven by critical business needs that the organization has at the time of the internship. All positions will provide interns with the opportunity to gain valuable experience while working closely with knowledgeable professionals and getting exposure to executive management. Internship project assignments typically include positions in areas such as Marketing, Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E), Finance/Accounting, IT or Supply Chain. This internship is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a global company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project-Based Work:
- Engage in assignments driven by critical business needs.
- Work on progressive projects that increase in complexity year-over-year.
Cross-Functional Exposure:
- Collaborate with professionals across various disciplines such as Finance, Research, Development & Engineering, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Marketing.
- Gain exposure to executive management and leadership.
Professional Development:
- Receive training, coaching, and mentorship.
- Develop critical thinking and time management skills.
- Build business acumen and career-specific competencies.
Career Pathway:
- The TOPS Program leads into our functional internship program once you’re in your junior year of college. As part of our functional internship experience, you’ll be considered in the priority pipeline for full-time roles at SC Johnson after you’ve completed your bachelor’s degree.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Alignment with a career interest that SCJ roles support (i.e. Marketing, RD&E, Finance/Accounting, IT or Supply Chain).
- New members to TOPS must be a current junior or senior and attend a City of Racine high school.
- Must be pursuing a 4-year degree at college or university.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Declared major by the 1st semester of Sophomore year of college
- Currently enrolled in the TOPS program and eligible for a return offer
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Position is full time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
- 10-week summer internship
- Returning TOPS Interns: May 18, 2026 - July 24, 2026
- New TOPS Interns: June 16, 2026 – August 21, 2026
- This position is not eligible for remote work
- This position is not eligible for relocation
