ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Accounts Receivable Analyst, you, will manage cash application processes and Accounts Receivable processing for assigned customers. In this position you will need to be detail-oriented professional with strong execution skills and a desire to grow impact in the Accounts Receivable Team results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transactional Responsibilities (25%):
Monitor bank transmissions and SAP lockbox processing for exceptions
Post wire payments and resolve payment rejections
Ensure proper imaging of customer remittance documents
Maintain customer bank account information
Perform transaction controls for reversals and billing correction approvals
Customer Responsibilities (50%):
Manage AR processing for assigned customers
Manage Telus trade deduction settlements for assigned Lifestyle customers
Analysis Responsibilities (25%)
Drive initiatives to improve cash automation rates, collaborating with customers and internal teams
Assist with annual audit requests for cash remittance
Act as the escalation point for cash application process inquiries from AR and Credit teams
Ensure continuous improvement of AR work procedures through quality assurance and maintenance efforts
Contribute to business change and operational excellence projects
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
+1 year of experience with SAP or ERP systems
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
1-3 years of experience in credit or accounts receivable roles
Experience working in a shared services environment
Exposure to outsourced financial operations or service providers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent planning, priority-setting, and organization abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other financial analysis tools
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Full time
Occasional two-day trips (<5%) to strategic partners or industry share-group conferences
Office work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
This role is not eligible for relocation
