ABOUT THE ROLE

Support the Quality Engineering function by ensuring that suppliers, materials, and processes comply with company standards and customer requirements. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, participation in new product development projects, and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at risk prevention, process efficiency, and overall quality performance.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Quality Engineering within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Beyond the core responsibilities, the role provides a wide range of learning and development experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements.
  • Manage and analyze supplier-related quality claims, including root cause analysis (RCA) and definition of containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers during material qualifications for new components, new suppliers, or new production sites.
  • Participate in innovation and new product development projects, identifying potential risks in early development phases and defining appropriate process controls.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to develop more efficient and robust processes.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to supplier quality, corrective actions, and material approvals.
  • Track quality KPIs and provide regular reports to management.
  • Communicate effectively with local and international suppliers to align quality expectations and actions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Chemical, Materials, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, or similar roles (internships or co-ops will be considered).
  • Fluent conversational English is required (foreign supplier interaction).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
  • Availability to travel.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Basic understanding of quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, PPAP, APQP).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and related standards (IATF 16949 is a plus).
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and supplier management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable interacting with suppliers and stakeholders at different levels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time
  • Fixed-term contract (6 months)
  • Once-a-week remote work for eligible employees (4x1)
  • This position is not eligible for relocation
