ABOUT THE ROLE
As Sr. Associate, Sales Analysis, you will play an integral role in the success of the East Food sales division by analyzing data into actionable insights, which will have a direct impact to the SCJ business. You will have significant cross functional interaction with the East sales team, as well as customer marketing, finance, product supply and sales operations. In addition, there will be opportunities to interface with account buying staff to deliver insights and drive business results
PLEASE NOTE: The expected career path for this position includes future roles in Sales Account Management. This is considered a rotational position, and the candidate selected will be expected to transfer to another position after approximately 2 years. The next position may require relocation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cumulative customer reporting across the East Division to provide a holistic perspective of insights and opportunities
Analysis of point of sale, channel facts, consumer facts, and BDR/MRD related consumer research to improve base/promotional business
Utilize multiple databases to support analysis such as Nielsen data, Market Basket, BW, SAP, customer POS/Downstream Data
Forecasting analytics and S&OP facilitation with account teams and sales management
Project work supporting the total Food division
Prepare and present to the customer information that adds value to the sales meeting
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree and 2 + years of relevant business experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
1+ year of sales or analyst work experience
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Some knowledge of sales tools preferred, i.e. proficiency in SAP, Nielsen, and a sales planning tool (TPMAX)
Ability to adapt to changing work and client demands
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full Time on-site role in West Loop Chicago office
Core hours: 9 – 3
This position is not eligible for relocation
Travel 10% max
Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees
