Role: Senior AP Specialist

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

This role is not eligible for relocation.

Overview:

Senior AP Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate processing of invoices & VAT documentation. The role supports daily Accounts Payable operations, ensures compliance with Ukrainian VAT requirements, and contributes to continuous process improvement within the SSC

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Operations

• Validate, process, and post Intercompany and third‑party invoices.
• Follow up blocked invoices to drive resolution.
• Understands Procure to Pay process (P2P)
• Perform AP reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations, and aging balance reviews.
• Process vendor queries and provide high‑quality support to internal stakeholders.

VAT & Documentation Control

• Manage acts and delivery notes, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Monitor receipt of physical originals and postal documentation.
• Detect missing delivery proofs and identify SCJ self‑pickup of goods.
• Validate marketing service documentation, including photos and manager approvals.
• Verify VAT invoice accuracy (dates, sums, numbering, source documents).
• Register outgoing VAT invoices in MEDoc and process corrections.
• Manage month‑end VAT: consolidated invoices, VAT balance, and internal VAT invoices.
• Reconcile SAP and MEDoc VAT registers and monitor blocked VAT invoices.​

Quality, Controls & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure processes meet Service Level Agreements and internal control standards.
• Support auditing requirements and maintain integrity of financial information.
• Identify and implement process improvements; share knowledge across the SSC.
• Contribute to team objectives and support ad‑hoc analysis and issue resolution.

Experience you’ll bring:

• Fluent Ukrainian and English required
• Experience in Accounts Payable (or AR/Finance) within a multinational environment.
• Strong background in processing high volumes of documentation and multiple currencies.
• Knowledge of SAP; experience with MEDoc and Ukrainian VAT legislation.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient IT skills, including intermediate MS Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Strong numeracy skills.

Job requirements:

• Full time (9:00 AM to 6 PM)
• Physical demands (If applicable) – hybrid schedule for the period of martial law
