Job Summary:
This role supports the Freight Billing Validation function which is responsible for analytical tasks with a focus on quality work output and detection of incorrect vendor charging. Additionally, this position is responsible for the communication with the vendor of incorrect charges and monitoring of invoices and credit memos received for both international and domestic freight invoices. This position serves a critical supporting role for multiple markets in both routine tasks as well as implementing process improvements that are aligned with the leadership team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform 100% validation of received invoices from freight vendors
Ensure timely and accurate completion of billing validation upon receipt of the billing summary report according to signed off work instruction.
Uploading of validated invoices to DataCap within 5days SLA (Invoice repository for processing)
Perform tracking of 100% received invoices including credit memos and the likes
Ensure issues and concerns are addressed to avoid payment delays and stop shipment of vendors. Work with the leadership team in case of complex situations
Actively participate in LEAN and continuous improvement, identifies, and implements continuous improvement on global processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Business course graduate or equivalent
Detail-oriented
Strong analytical skills
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Good Communication skills; English fluency
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with deadlines
Flexible and can operate efficiently under continuous change
Problem Solver
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Previous experience in multi-cultural teams
Project management
Automation exposure is a plus
Presentation skills
Good understanding of Accounts Payable
Job Requirements:
Full-time, permanent employment
Onsite work setup (M-F); remote work once a week is available after 3 months
Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM (Mondays thru Fridays)
Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
This role is not eligible for relocation
