Sr. Associate, Development Engineering Process

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Plan, develop, and implement improvements in processes for innovation in the development of new products at local and regional levels.
  • Implement bulk formulation manufacturing processes through industrial scale-up.
  • Serve as a communication channel between global and cluster teams to implement new manufacturing processes at manufacturing sites.
  • Create validation plans for new formulas in conjunction with global teams.
  • Conduct stability tests, technical tests, and analyses required by formula changes/introduction.
  • Follow up on the compliance of role activities within the time established in the project timeline.
  • Lead validation tests on production lines (PPVs).
  • Provide technical support in line tests led by quality (PLQs).
  • Identify the root cause of problems in project development/implementation and suggest solutions.
  • Provide technical support to operational areas in the development phase.
  • Support feasibility analysis for potential savings projects.
  • Deal with suppliers and contractors.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with projects and applied systems, including review and generation of raw material and formula specifications.
  • Participate in global platforms and technical reviews on top projects for the company.
  • Act as the regional PCM representative in regional and global forums, and in special projects associated with the position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement new processes considering efficiency and quality.
  • Carry out process tests and simulations to ensure the prediction and effectiveness of proposed product.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure processes meet production and quality requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and recurring issues.
  • provide technical support for quality and production team.
  • Ensure processes comply with SCJ standards.
  • Prepare samples at the lab, start tests in general and monitoring these tests during the project.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Bachelor.
  • Proven experience in process engineering in an industrial environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time
  • Once-weekly remote work for eligible employees
  • Contract for an Undetermined Time
  • This role is not eligible for relocation
