ROLE SUMMARY:
Reporting into the Customer Marketing Director for Western, you will play a central role in developing the Customer Marketing strategy for France. You will be in close collaboration with the Sales, Finance and Supply Chain Teams. You will do deep analyses of the market, customers and shopper dynamics, will come up with insights to be converted into action plans across the channels. You will also be working with regional Customer Marketers in order to acquire regional principles, guidelines and tools while providing them the local dynamics and needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build French annual corplan
- Responsible for delivering SoM and P&L targets for PC France
- Develop pricing and promotional strategy
- Develop and implement Trade Marketing Plan
- Manage Equity and Pricing Budget
- Design in-store strategy covering multiple pillars; i.e. BTL communication and in-store materials, price architecture, category assortment and consumer promotions
- Lead market execution of new launches
- Lead cross-functional relations with key stakeholders; Regional Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain Teams
- Responsible for management of shopper initiatives and investments for the category
- Utilize multiple data resources for better understanding of market trends, competition, channels as well as shopper insights driving a high-quality trade plans
- Takes an active role in S&OP process ensuring the connection between marketing plans and market execution and sales
- Responsible for management of 2 brand managers
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree level education, ideally within a marketing / business discipline
- 6 years’ experience and of specifically 3 years of Marketing/Customer Marketing
- Strong awareness, understanding and knowledge of the local French retailers, shopper behaviour and insights
- Strong planning/organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines
- Written and spoken fluency in English and French
- Excellent analytical skills, ideally with an understanding of / experience using Nielsen syndicated data
- Strategic mind set, understands the strategic & tactical nature of the business
- Ability to work independently with a sense of ownership, leadership and can-do attitude.
