Senior Analyst, Procurement and Supplier Management (North Asia) (Korean Speaker)

The Sr. Associate, Procurement Operations for North Asia is responsible for managing the procurement of Finished Goods, Raw and pack materials sourced in Korea. The Sr. Associate will support and deliver against key Procurement initiatives such as Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Supplier Consolidation, Total Cost of Ownership (Cost Savings), Lean, and DTV at the contract. This role involves obtaining quotes, negotiating purchasing terms, maintaining internal systems, introducing new products, managing supplier performance, and reporting on expenditures. The position reports to the North Asia Procurement team and collaborates closely with global and regional procurement portfolio teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain quotes and negotiate purchasing terms for finished goods, raw materials and packaging.
  • Maintain internal systems related to procurement.
  • Introduce new products and manage the setup process.
  • Manage supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Report on procurement expenditures and provide analysis.
  • Collaborate with global and regional procurement teams to align strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to achieve KPI..
  • Support and deliver service KPIs
  • Coordinate with Shared Service Center (SSC) Planning and EM for supply assurance.
  • Assess, validate, and monitor Supplier capacity and provide recommendations and action plans to mitigate risks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Minimum 3 years in a Supply Chain environment, preferably in procurement or contract manufacturing management.
  • Experience in managing external suppliers, preferably in FMCG business.
  • Business level Japanese, English and Korean languages

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • The capability to communicate credibly to and influence a variety of audiences across the Regional and Global organizations, Senior Managers and External Stakeholders.
  • An eye for details and attitude to be hands on when required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and plan for future contingencies.
  • Be capable of making sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Basic appreciation for SAP.
  • MS Excel, PowerPoint proficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time
  • Typical work hours: 9 AM – 5:30PM, Monday to Friday
  • Percentage of travel time expected: 10%, primarily within Japan
  • Physical demands: None specified
  • Work environment: Office work environment; remote work available twice a week
