Role: EMEA Logistics Capabilities Associate Manager

Overview:
Reporting to the EMEA Logistics Capabilities Manager, you will lead strategic logistics projects from concept through execution, translating data into insights and insights into action. You will play a key role in shaping and executing the European logistics strategy while acting as a subject matter expert and change leader across the organization.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement and digital enablement.
About the Team:
You will join the Europe Logistics Capabilities team, a group focused on building scalable capabilities, advancing best practices, and driving innovation across logistics and supply chain operations. The team partners closely with regional operations, global stakeholders, and external industry partners to stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver high‑exposure, cross‑functional logistics projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget commitments are met.
- Establish and manage project governance, including stakeholder communication, meeting cadence, risk management, and reporting.
- Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Act as a Logistics Capabilities SME, supporting internal and external stakeholders across Europe.
- Build and strengthen logistics and supply chain capabilities through best‑practice sharing and capability development.
- Analyze complex data sets to generate actionable insights and influence data‑driven decision‑making.
- Design and implement solutions that improve cost, service, and operational performance.
- Communicate insights through clear visuals, storytelling, and executive‑ready presentations.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset, modeling collaboration and change leadership.
- Partner with external stakeholders (e.g., universities, LSPs, 4PLs, customers, FMCG peers) to monitor market trends and anticipate change.
- Lead the integration of AI and machine learning tools to enhance analytics, process efficiency, and real‑time visibility across logistics operations.
Experience you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or consulting within these areas
- Strong financial, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
- Proven mastery of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in driving change and delivering measurable results.
- Experience identifying efficiency opportunities and improving end‑to‑end processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Think‑Cell.
