Senior Analyst, Finished Goods Planning

Function: Regional Supply Planning

Overview:

The Senior Associate, Finished Goods Planning is responsible for inventory and production planning for an assigned portfolio across multiple European markets. The role balances customer service, inventory and production capacity while ensuring robust supply plans and effective execution across the network.

The role works closely with SCJ factories, commercial teams and other Supply Chain functions to manage short- and medium-term supply priorities, support S&OP and S&OE decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement and strategic supply initiatives.

The position requires strong operational discipline and hands-on planning, combined with the ability to identify risks, develop scenarios and translate changing business requirements into clear and actionable supply plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Own inventory and production planning for an assigned portfolio across multiple European markets.
  • Define and optimize inventory targets at distribution centers to deliver customer service objectives while effectively managing working capital.
  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule, balancing demand requirements with factory capacity, material availability and business constraints.
  • Contribute to monthly S&OP and weekly S&OE processes by identifying supply risks and opportunities, developing scenarios and recommendations, and supporting effective decision-making.
  • Use SAP ECC, Kinaxis Maestro and analytics tools to maintain accurate planning information and support effective decision-making across the network.
  • Own the Supply Planning integration of product launches, restages and lifecycle changes, ensuring supply plans are aligned with project timelines and business requirements.
  • Conduct long-term supply assessments and contribute to strategic supply initiatives, including make-or-buy evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate SAP and Kinaxis master data required for effective production and distribution planning.
  • Identify planning inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools and ways of working.
  • Collaborate across Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial teams to resolve supply issues and ensure alignment on priorities and actions.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations or a related field.
  • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience, preferably including production, supply or inventory planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex and changing data into clear, actionable supply plans.
  • Experience working with Supply Planning and ERP systems; SAP ECC and Kinaxis/Maestro experience is preferred.
  • Good understanding of inventory management, production planning, customer service and supply chain trade-offs.
  • Ability to identify supply risks, evaluate alternatives and develop recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze planning data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

The expected gross salary range for this position is between 38 800,00 EUR - 50 977,50 EUR. Job related skills, experience, and education, will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive, and/or long-term incentives.
