Quality Analyst

• Location: Cairo, Egypt
• Function: Quality

Overview

As a Quality Analyst, you will help ensure SCJ products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. You will support the deployment of quality management systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and world‑class best practices across laboratory and manufacturing processes. Your work will play an essential role in maintaining product integrity and protecting consumer trust.

About the Role

In this role, you will lead laboratory and on‑line quality control activities, support ISO and GLP compliance, and guide continuous improvement efforts across the site. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, conduct investigations, analyze data, and help drive improvements in product quality, processes, and supplier performance.

About the Team/Department

You will join the Quality function, reporting to the Manager, Quality. The team oversees product and raw‑material testing, regulatory compliance, internal audits, and quality system deployment to ensure SCJ’s manufacturing operations deliver safe, compliant, high‑quality products to market.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, maintain, and improve QMS standards, GLP practices, and compliance with local and international regulations
• Ensure all lab and online testing staff are trained, qualified, and following required procedures
• Oversee internal audits of equipment, testing methods, and documentation to ensure complete, compliant records
• Lead investigations of quality issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, execute CAPA, and manage release/hold decisions for raw materials and finished goods
• Manage qualification and validation activities for raw materials, products, processes, and lab equipment
• Drive supplier quality improvement; support audits, monitor KPIs, and collaborate on corrective actions
• Ensure accurate, consistent lab and online testing using statistical analysis to support process improvements
• Prepare quality performance reports highlighting KPIs, compliance, risks, and improvement initiatives

Experience You’ll Bring:

• Early experience in Quality Control and Environment, Health & Safety — ideally in aerosol manufacturing or FMCG
• Technical competency in quality operations and laboratory/test procedures.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Effective at servicing internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000, GLP, Pharmacopoeia, and chemical/micro testing procedures
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams, drive improvement, and deliver results

Job Requirements:

• Full‑time position based onsite in Cairo, Egypt
• Not eligible for relocation
• Manufacturing environment—onsite work required
• Occasional overtime depending on business needs
