Senior Associate, eCommerce (Germany / DACH)

Overview
We are looking for a driven Senior Associate, eCommerce to support the growth of two strategically critical digital channels in Germany. This role plays a key part in executing our eCommerce strategy—especially eRetail and retail media—and contributes directly to sales growth, customer development, and operational excellence.
About the Role
In this role, you will work hands‑on with Amazon and other eCommerce partners across the DACH region, supporting day‑to‑day execution while building strong analytical and commercial foundations. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Category Management to deliver best‑in‑class digital execution and customer results.
This position is an excellent entry point into high‑growth eCommerce within an international FMCG environment, offering strong visibility and development opportunities.
About the Team
You will join a cross‑functional, collaborative eCommerce and Sales organization that values ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement. The team works closely with both local and regional stakeholders and plays a critical role in shaping SC Johnson’s digital commerce future in Germany and the wider DACH region.
Responsibilities
Support the execution of the eCommerce channel strategy, contributing to sales, profitability, and growth targets
Lead and support retail media strategy across multiple customers in the DACH region
Manage day‑to‑day operations for eCommerce distributors and platforms, including assortment, content, pricing, and promotions
Analyze eCommerce performance KPIs such as sales, traffic, conversion, availability, and share of search, and translate insights into actions
Support the development of customer plans, forecasts, and promotional calendars
Prepare analyses and materials for customer meetings, negotiations, and joint business planning
Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Category Management to ensure product availability and campaign execution
Identify opportunities to improve digital shelf quality and online visibility
Contribute to the onboarding and development of new eCommerce customers and platforms, including marketplaces and distributors
Experience You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or a related commercial role
Experience working with or strong understanding of the German retail landscape
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel and data‑driven insights
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

Experience with eCommerce KPIs and digital shelf optimization
Social Commerce exposure (e.g., TikTok Shop)
Previous experience in an international or regional role
