Role: Senior Demand Planner

Location: Erkrath, Germany

This role is not eligible for relocation.

Overview:

Currently we are looking for a Senior Demand Planner to join our Central Europe Team in Germany reporting to the Demand Planning Manager. Our demand planners are key drivers of our S&OP process. In this role you will be responsible for preparing our demand forecast for a specific group of countries in close collaboration with our sales, marketing and finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze past/future demand inputs
• Prepare short-term and long-term product demand forecast for all our Consumer Brands categories and channels using statistical forecasting methods, based on marketing and customer assumptions
• Measure, report, and proactively correct forecast accuracy
• Collaborate with various cross-functional partners in projects such as NPD, discontinuations, and process improvements

Experience you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, Supply Chain / Operations Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of Supply Chain or Demand Planning experience required
• Experience and concrete knowledge working in the FMCG industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
• Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving ability
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Preferably with experience in SAP
• Knowledge of Kinaxis or scenario planning tool would be a great advantage
