Role Overview
Join a dynamic and inclusive team at a fast growing, global FMCG company. As the Sales Channel Manager, you will take ownership of developing and executing channel specific strategies to drive revenue and market shares across key sales platforms. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on commercial execution and offers the opportunity to work closely with cross functional teams across the organization. You will report to Sales Director and play a key role in shaping the future
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual sales strategies and budgets for assigned channels
- Monitor market trends, insights and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Define and track channel and customer specific sales targets
- Lead field execution
- Oversee annual agreements, JBPs, campaign plans
- Ensure profitability and healthy inventory levels through efficient portfolio and demand planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts / key distributors
- Recruit, develop and inspire the sales team
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver’s license
- Min 8-10 years of experience in FMCG sales, including at least 4 years in team management
- Experience in working with distributors / key accounts
Skills & Behaviours you’ll need:
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking and communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen with negotiation, budgeting and strategic planning skills
- Proven track record in channel management, key account handling and field sales operations
