Associate Manager, Sales Account Management

Location: Madrid - Spain

Function: Sales

Contract type: fixed term

ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for the management of specific Accounts within the Spanish trade including trade term, assortment & promo negotiation, analysis and presentation of products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Selling our products to the Spanish trade partners
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing agreements, and contracts to key accounts, negotiating terms and conditions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Management customer P&L.
  • Preparation and realization of year-end talks within agreed budgets
  • Development and implementation of the annual business plan according to the customer’s commercial strategic pillars
  • Customer’s performance monitoring, preparation and execution of course correction action plans
  • Preparation and handling of presentations to the customer of new products, promotions, etc.
  • Market analysis, competitor research, and periodic reporting to senior management on sales performance and the evolution of different channels.
  • Daily operative management of the customer

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree level education or equivalent, emphasis on Sales & Marketing
  • Commercial background with at least 3 years in Commercial experience (ideally a combination of Sales and Customer Marketing/Marketing)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Understanding and knowledge of the Spanish & European retail environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive for results with high degree of autonomy, initiative and speed.
  • Strong communicator and team worker, able to build relationships at all levels and across function in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Solid analytic skills
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time.
