E-Commerce Analyst - Fixed Term Contract

Madrid, Spain

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an E-commerce Analyst, you will be responsible for providing operational support in the development of the Amazon portfolio across all our categories. You will assist in the implementation of digital strategies and work closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) and external partners to optimize commercial performance.

Reporting to the Modern Trade Manager, you will play a key role in SC Johnson’s efforts to rapidly accelerate our e-commerce growth. In this position, you will be part of the team that helps SCJ build the Amazon business and develop e-commerce capabilities across the European region. You will be involved in driving direct sales growth in Spain, gaining a strong understanding of e-retail best practices, and demonstrating a passion for data and analytics to monitor return on investment and optimize digital investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Amazon Assortment and catalog:

• Manage product catalog (internal database)
• Launch new products on Amazon, in collaboration with media agency
• Ensure product availability working with Amazon AVS and Vendor consultant
• Support on stock management (tracking, reporting, Born to run)
• Support on pricing and invoicing management

Visibility:

• Update product pages and brandstores in collaboration with Marketing, and ensure SEO optimization
• Provide recommendations for improvement opportunities
• Update media assets and support media campaigns implementation, working with Marketing and media agency

Promotion:

• Support on pre-promo preparation (PDP, retail / media assets, SEO, stock checks…)
• Monitor during promo (deal checks)
• Support on post-promo analysis

Data and reporting:

• Support on internal database for data accuracy, and monitor competitors’ activities and SCJ market data
• Track and analyze sales and media performance
• Monitor product launches performance (NDPs, epacks)

Cross-functional:

• Be the main point of contact of Amazon Vendor Consultant
• Support on retail and media tasks with AVS / Flywheel / Amazon Ads
• Support on tasks with SCJ internal teams

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in business, digital marketing, or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, e-commerce, or digital key account management within the FMCG industry.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Amazon KPIs, sell-out, sell-in, conversion, advertising ROI), with a very high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools.
• Is a plus knowledge of Amazon platforms (Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, DSP, A+ Content, SEO, Buy Box, etc.)
• Ability to influence and build trust-based relationships with partners
• Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment
• Data-driven mindset and ability to make performance-based decisions
• Fluent English required (frequent interactions with international teams)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team spirit
