Job Summary

The primary role of the Associate Manager, Supply Planning, is to coach, mentor, and lead a team of Analysts responsible for supply planning for ASEAN Cluster and partnering with key stakeholders to deliver organization and business objectives and strategies. This role will also engage with cross functional stakeholders to explore continuous improvement opportunities to support and deliver on established KPIs at the region/country/business level and work closely with the key business partners to drive efficiencies and collaboration in the end-to-end supply planning process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspire, engage and lead a team of Finished Good Planners

  • Encourage the growth of the team members and enable an environment of collective responsibility and accountability

  • Coach the team of FG planners on end-to-end supply chain best practices, policies, and tools

  • Partner with key supply chain and commercial partners on delivering business needs

  • Collaborate with Global/Regional Supply Chain partners in defining supply strategies, finding the optimal balance between cost, cash, service, and efficiencies

  • Actively participate in S&OP processes and point of contact on S&OE

  • Build enhancements and drive continuous improvement in operating strategies and processes within the cluster

  • Ensure the team’s compliance with planning processes and strategies

  • Provide core planning support during resource constraints

  • Accountable for in-process and output KPIs

  • Regularly do workload assessment and rebalance when needed

  • Close track development of team members towards their long-term career goals

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder preferably in supply chain management, economics, engineering, or a business-related field.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Supply Chain or Business, 2-3 years must be focused on Supply Planning, with demonstrated results and working in a team-based, cross functional environment, preferably experience with the standard S&OP or IBP processes.

  • Hands-on experience in supply planning systems or tools i.e. SAP/dashboards/Power BI 

  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.

  • People management experience.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement.

  • Data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.

  • Experience in using SAP and other Planning tools, Tableau & Power BI.

  • General knowledge of finance, sales, marketing and R&D functions.

  • Strong training and coaching skills.

  • Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.

Job Requirements

  • Full-time employment; onsite work setup (M-F); remote work once a week is available after 3 months

  • Work Hours: 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM (Mondays thru Fridays)

  • Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables

  • Travel is expected given the role

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
