ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will own the functional onboarding materials, training plan, and all related process documentation. You will provide both functional and technical leadership to the North America Accounts Payable team, helping to drive efficiency and effectiveness while working collaboratively within a global network of regional and global Accounts Payable teams. You will act as the primary troubleshooter for SAP-related issues, serving as the key liaison between end users and supporting teams. In addition, you will partner closely with Accounts Payable Team Leads to ensure adherence to policies and the timely completion of SOAR self-assessments and audit requirements, including both SCJ Global Internal Audit and external audits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute on global and regional projects relevant to AP systems or integration of new activities while working collaboratively and cross functionally as required
Assist and provide coaching to support users in using SAP/other tools and serve as a point of escalation for incidents while serving as primary interface with BPT and Global AP team
Act as custodian of training materials for Accounts Payable and ensure materials are appropriately updated and ensure appropriate training is provided to team members, leveraging Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) within the NA AP team where appropriate to do so
Provide backup and special assignment support as needed as part of the NA AP leadership team
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in business related field (Accounting preferred)
5+ years of relevant work experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Extensive experience with Accounts Payable, SAP and Concur (or other Global Travel & Expense)
Strong initiative and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems, manage multiple priorities, work within deadlines while partnering well cross functionally and globally
Adaptive strategic thinking skills (high-level thinking when appropriate vs. detailed orientated) with the ability to influence and lead change initiatives and communicate in a positive manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate independently and prioritize multiple projects at the same time
Lean mindset and demonstrated experience of process improvement & project management
Intermediate Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full Time
Remote work is available once a week after 90-day onboarding period.
Travel requirement is >10%
This role is not eligible for relocation.
