ABOUT THE ROLE

SC Johnson is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Internal Communications team as an Associate Manager.

In this individual contributor role, you will support planning and execution of high-impact internal corporate engagements, meetings and events that promote organizational awareness and strengthen employee pride, deepening engagement, inspiration and investment in the Company’s future. You will be a key contributor by facilitating and delivering on complex, global initiatives through thoughtful coordination and strong execution.

Your exceptional attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and strong organizational and time management competencies are critical to successfully managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities. You will be challenged to remain current on emerging communication and event technologies, platforms, and best practices that enhance employee engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the logistical and operational execution of high-visibility leadership engagements such as town halls, virtual meetings, and employee events.

  • Develop and maintain project plans that ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

  • Contribute to presentation and content development, including agendas, presentations, video assets, interactive elements, and employee feedback mechanisms.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal partners and external vendors to ensure seamless, high-quality delivery across programs and events.

  • Support a range of employee communication programs through creative ideation, planning, content development, execution, and measurement of impact.

  • Design and build polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations that tell a clear story, simplify complex information, and reflect the Company’s tone and values.

  • Ideate, write and refine content for internal communication channels.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field of study.

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, meeting and event planning, or integrated communications in a corporate or agency setting.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Experience in a large, complex/matrixed corporate communications environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written storytelling/presentation skills

  • Microsoft Office suite

  • Self-starter and able to work well independently as well as effectively collaborate across functions and organizational levels

  • Adaptable and willing to accept new challenges, embrace processes and deadlines

  • Responds well to feedback and revisions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters on Howe Street in Racine

  • Full time, Monday through Friday business hours

  • Remote work available once a week for eligible employees

  • This role is NOT eligible for relocation.
