The Associate Manager,Operational Technology (OT) Endpoint Solutions Engineer is a member of the End User Productivity (EUP) team. EUP is a global team that manages and delivers client solutions to meet current and future business needs, ensuring value realization in the shortest possible timeframe. EUP oversees Microsoft 365, physical and virtual endpoints, collaboration spaces, end-user enablement, and related services.

This position is an individual contributor role responsible for working directly with our manufacturing and RD&E teams to understand their endpoint requirements (computers and mobile devices), identify technology gaps, and develop standardized solutions to be implemented on a global scale.  In this role you will also evaluate and maintain endpoint standards for our IT environment.

This is an onsite role in Racine, WI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the End User Productivity liaison to the manufacturing and RD&E teams.  Through this relationship, work to gain a comprehensive understanding of their endpoint landscape and any issues or shortcomings they are experiencing

  • Coordinate with the EUP endpoint team to build secure solutions that address the needs of manufacturing and RD&E using tools including Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, and JAMF

  • Develop and enforce hardware standards to make the user experience more consistent when using IT/OT devices, such as: ruggedized laptops and tablets, industrial PCs (IPCs), laptops, desktops, iPads and Apple TVs

  • Collaborate with the Digital Strategy & Transformation team to ensure standard and policy alignment with global manufacturing and RD&E strategies

  • Participate in designing and implementing hardware architectures that support the organization's operational needs, while adhering to security requirements

  • Develop and maintain a process to initiate the review and replacement of current IT/OT endpoint and peripheral standards based on vendor device lifecycles

  • Assist with the decommissioning of legacy endpoint services remaining in the environment, including file-level encryption (EFS), computer imaging process (MDT), and on-premises BitLocker drive encryption (MBAM)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

  • 5+ years relevant work experience

  • 3+ years of experience with Information Technology (IT)/ Operational Technology (OT) endpoint management or a related field

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Experience with hardware standards development and enforcement

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between different teams with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work with a globally dispersed client base

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable operational plans and involves others as needed

  • Working knowledge of endpoint management tools such as Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, and JAMF

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing standardized solutions on a global scale.

  • Problem-solving skills to identify technology gaps and develop appropriate solutions.

  • Experience coordinating and managing projects related to endpoint solutions
