ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Manager, End to End (E2E) Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering projects through the full (E2E) New Product Development (NPD) process for the Pest Control business. In this role, you will lead cross‑functional teams from early concept through commercialization, ensuring every stage of the NPD process is executed with clarity, alignment, and discipline.

You will guide teams through key milestones, making sure deliverables, success criteria, timing, and risk‑mitigation plans are well defined and achieved. This role is accountable for identifying process or principal deviations, driving timely trade‑off and escalation discussions, and leveraging our visual performance management tools to keep projects moving toward business goals.

As an E2E Project Manager, you are the connector and the catalyst—driving project delivery from idea to shelf, enabling the organization to meet strategic commitments and bring innovative pest control solutions to consumers around the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leverage business acumen to understand market and category dynamics to optimize business results; Demonstrate SC Johnson (SCJ) Success Drivers and establish a “Mindset to Win” Culture.

  • Lead project scoping to ensure a winning proposition is defined, delivering business objectives including cost, timing and future growth strategy.

  • Enable teams to use internal and external resources to find solutions to drive business objectives.

  • Execute the technical plan and coordinates activities of functional team members to execute validation test plans that will meet commitments of key technical deliverables.

  • Influence others to drive project progress in their respective functional areas.

  • Model strong R&D functional skills, including appropriate skills in effective communication, financial acumen, integrated risk management, project management, quality, robustness, regulation & safety, scientific rigor, and technical curiosity.

  • Demonstrate the ability to pivot between working on the front-end of a project operating in ambiguity to delivering in the execution phase.

  • Apply rigorous timeline and risk management practices to effectively manage technical and timeline risks and identify solutions for the most critical path elements.

  • Provide consistent communication with cross-functional team and internal stakeholders.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in development and commercialization of consumer product goods, or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years relevant work experience

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Direct experience using AI‑enabled project management tools for scheduling, timeline creation, risk assessment, stakeholder updates, and reporting.

  • Proven success leading new product launches, managing external manufacturing partners, and performing operational financial analyses.

  • Strong capability in technical problem‑solving using structured methods, including Design of Experiments (DOEs), to generate insights and support product claims.

  • Broad and deep technical expertise in product development and commercialization, including global product requirements, technology scouting, competitive and IP analysis, systems thinking, and analytical test methods.

  • Highly self‑directed and results‑focused, with a consistent record of delivering high‑quality outputs on schedule.

  • Strategic and organized planner with strong self‑evaluation skills; dependable, resilient, and an empathetic communicator.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and articulate recommendations effectively.

  • Demonstrated initiative and strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects independently.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is full-time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday

  • Office work environment: Racine, WI (Racine Sam’s Hall Campus)

  • Up to 10% travel.

  • Remote work is available 1x per week after 90-day onboarding period

  • Domestic relocation is available for this role

  • Ability to lift 10 – 40 pounds.
