ABOUT THE ROLE
In this Associate Manager role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional Research and Development (R&D) and Marketing teams in support of Sustainability strategies, metrics and key performance indicators. Additionally, you will partner with our technology teams to provide user support, promote analytics enhancements, and simplify data for our sustainability and portfolio management systems.
Your key accountabilities will involve a regular cadence of KPI and glidepath reporting to Senior Leadership, as well as designing and developing solutions using various PowerApps and Power BI to manage data, reporting capabilities and analyses. You will work in collaboration with leaders across a variety of functions to ensure our data sources and reporting align with the organization's strategy while effectively addressing business requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must bring the ability to comprehend and translate the business and end user needs from a systems and analytics perspective into sustainable solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate sustainability metrics against strategic commitments on a monthly and semiannual basis.
Generate metrics on key performance indicators against portfolio growth, health and strategic targets.
Design and implement data visualization solutions using Power BI and other analytics platforms.
Develop and implement enhancements focusing on simplification and efficiency of sustainability and portfolio data reporting, and analytics solutions.
Collaborate with global and regional sustainability leads to support metric development and reporting.
Develop and implement enhancements focusing on simplification and efficiency of project management tools, data reporting, and analytics solutions.
Serve as the subject matter expert on Sustainability and PowerApps
Troubleshoot system access and workflow issues in collaboration with IT and external/third party developers.
Manage user access for internal systems and conduct periodic reviews to ensure data security.
Create and maintain process documentation for systems and tools maintained.
Develop and update training materials to incorporate enhancements and new tools deployed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Math, Business/Analytics, etc.) and 6+ years of relevant work experience, OR an advanced degree in a technical field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with data management and reporting systems and tools.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Effective data analysis and interpretation skills for extracting valuable insights and making informed decisions.
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools, workflows, and report building utilizing Power BI, PowerApps and other tools within the Power Platform suite.
Experience with Power Query and Dax query to manipulate and streamline reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Azure SQL, Teradata database, SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Familiarity with the End to End New Product Development (NPD) process.
Exposure to project management and proficiency in metrics analysis.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and establish strong relationships internally and externally across all levels.
Capacity to work independently, prioritize results, and take personal ownership of tasks
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position will be located at an office on Sam’s campus in Mt. Pleasant
Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday
Remote work is available once a week following a 90-day onboarding period
Travel up to 15% may be required
This position is eligible for domestic relocation
