ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Sales Finance at SC Johnson, you will support the North America business as a key finance partner to United States (U.S.) and Puerto Rico sales teams. You will help drive profitable growth by delivering financial insights, leading forecasting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. In this role, you will work closely with sales leadership to optimize trade investment, strengthen financial processes, and achieve revenue and profitability goals. You will bring strong analytical thinking, challenge assumptions, and focus on delivering actionable, business-driven outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Sales leadership to support 5-year strategy plan and key strategic initiatives to achieve volume and profitability targets for Walmart and Puerto Rico.

  • Provide financial leadership and business counsel for the assigned sales account teams to enable revenue growth and improve account profitability.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to prepare sales and trade spend forecasts, identifying risks & opportunities and developing contingency plans to deliver budget commitments.

  • Perform complex finance activities, ad hoc financial statement analysis and commentary, pricing analytics, scenario modeling and ensuring accuracy of month and year-end financials.

  • Lead in preparing analysis and providing recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of trade spending for United States sales.

  • Provide financial counsel to cross-functional teams, improving decision making and developing solutions to address business issues.

  • Play integral role in preparation of internal/external presentations and ongoing appraisal of customer plans.

  • Manage functional expenses and prepare account reconciliations.

  • Routinely assess internal controls and recommend enhancements to strengthen financial governance and compliance.

  • Additional special projects and ad hoc analysis.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 7+ years of directly related experience in finance, OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of directly related experience.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Strong accounting, financial, and data-driven analytical skills, with Supply Chain and/or Commercial experience

  • Strategic thinking and demonstrated experience in providing financial support to executives

  • Ability to summarize and communicate financial analysis in a clear, succinct, and fact-based manner to enable speed and quality of decision-making

  • Ability to generate breakthrough ideas and provide the business with long-term, sustainable competitive advantage

  • Focus on identifying and implementing process improvements

  • Proven capability to lead through change and ambiguity while maintaining engagement and accountability

  • Strong collaboration and influence skills across functions

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle a wide range and complexity of business problems

  • Demonstrated capacity to assess disparate data streams and distill them into meaningful and, ultimately, actionable strategic recommendations

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, SAP, BW, and BPC

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full time Monday through Friday business hours.

  • Remote work is available once a week following a 90-day onboarding period.

  • This position will work from Sam’s Hall office in Mt. Pleasant, WI.

  • Up to 50% travel will be required to provide support to our Walmart team in Arkansas.
  • This role is NOT eligible for relocation support.
