Senior Analyst, Global Supply Chain Finance

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Senior Analyst, you will support Global Supply Chain Manufacturing by owning core financial planning, reporting, and governance activities that drive cost efficiency. You will act as a finance business partner collaborating closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to deliver accurate insights, improve performance, and ensure strong financial controls across a global footprint. You will play an integral role in cost management and forecasting. To be successful in this role, you will need to deliver clear, decision-ready financial information, that supports continuous improvement initiatives and strengthens global processes and standards.

For internal candidates this is at the H compensation grade.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own global manufacturing cost per case reporting and management functionals, partnering with functional owners to drive actionable insights and performance outcomes.
• Support cost optimization, root-cause analysis, and operating efficiency initiatives in collaboration with manufacturing and operations teams.
• Lead financial planning activities for manufacturing management functionals, including quarterly forecasts and the annual planning cycle, ensuring aligned assumptions and timely delivery.
• Support controls oversight and continuous improvement of manufacturing finance processes.
• Perform ad hoc analysis on GSC spend (i.e. functionals, cost per case, trend analysis) for GSC Finance leadership
• Assist in executing process and reporting improvements across the GSC Finance organization, partnering with the GSC Finance leadership team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 3 years of experience or MBA with 2 years of work experience.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

• Strong analytical skills with proven capability in developing and driving business case approval and execution, strategic thinking, leadership and organizational influence
• Expertise in driving business process excellence and maintaining robust financial controls
• A track record in capability building and ability to work in a matrix organization
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in SAP, BPC, and Excel

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• This position is located at the Sam’s West office location in Mt. Pleasant
• Full-time position, Monday through Friday business hours
• Remote work available one day a week following a 90-day onboarding period
• This role is not eligible for domestic relocation
• No travel required
