ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Associate, you will be accountable for oversight of the security services and contract management of the Master Service Agreement between S.C. Johnson, and it’s identified provider. The agreement covers the SCJ Racine operations, the Global Security Operation Center (GSOC), Bay City, MI manufacturing facility, Chicago Lifestyles Manufacturing facility, and the Chicago (Loop) office. Additionally, you will manage the Travel Tracking & Assistance program, Global Security SharePoint site, and Security Awareness training. You may also be required to support the Global Security Team with investigations, project management, and event security when appropriate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the Security Officer contract in Racine; including ensuring the contractor fulfills all requirements established in the contract, maintains staffing levels, conducts training, sustains personnel quality and performance
Support Security Services in Bay City, MI & Chicago, IL facilities, including coordinating with local management and security service provider to support security services at these locations
Develop Security policy and procedures; maintain GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) metrics and evaluate the performance for improvements and deficiencies.
Manages Security staffing for any special events and meetings as appropriate
Manage the SCJ travel tracking program which includes tracking of expatriates, assets, domestic and international travelers and provides a mobile engagement platform for travelers.
Develop and coordinate security awareness education by developing content, pamphlets, forms, articles, maintaining the GST SharePoint site, oral presentations, and other various marketing methods.
Work with Regional Security Managers on a variety of issues, investigations, project management, event security, site reviews, crises response, and other issues as needed; including reviewing electronic access records related to security incidents, determine best steps to disseminate and share information with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain relationships with local and state law enforcement, EMS services, intelligence assets, and security agencies. Establish and maintain memberships in federal partner programs with the US State Department (OSAC) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (DSAC).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience managing security operations or equivalent programs.
Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Associate Protection Professional (APP), Physical Security Certification (PSC), TAPA certification, or other relevant professional credential
Basic knowledge of interviewing and performing investigations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook.
Web design skills, SharePoint and SAP knowledge.

This position requires being “on call”
This position requires 10+% travel to include Racine area, Chicago, IL and Bay City, MI campuses, in addition to international sites as may be needed
This position is not eligible for flex work
This role is not eligible for relocation
