ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team as a Senior Analyst, Sales Account Management for Walmart. You'll support Air Care Account Managers and drive sales through insightful analysis and innovative programs. Bring your expertise in reporting, trade promotions, and controls, along with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow. Collaborate across all levels and present data-driven insights to a cross-functional team. This role offers opportunities for leadership growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for Supplier One functions of item set, item maintenance, cost changes, and dimensions.
- Utilize multiple sources of data for analysis, including Retail Link, Scintilla ,Nielsen data, Market Basket, BW, SAP, OLAP, and TPMax
- Responsible for sales forecasting, as it relates to the base business, new items, and display
- Analysis across the respective business unit, as it relates to forecasting, sales performance, new item performance, display incrementality and sell through
- Utilizes POS data to uncover sales opportunities, and helps develop a sales narrative to be presented to the buying team
- This position is a steppingstone role. Career progression may require the ability to be mobile across the US
- Ownership of eCommerce/ digital health, including PDP’s, item opportunities, content quality, and forecasting
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant business experience
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) or Mass Channel
- Category/shelf management or Trade Marketing experience, Syndicated data analysis, Internal planning and forecasting system understanding
- Previous Selling or Category Analyst (internal or external) experience and proficiency in computer skills and financial knowledge
- Understanding of Walmart business model and key drivers that impact the P&L at the customer and within a CPG company
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with buyers and building customer relationships
- Demonstrate effective internal or external relationship building skills
- Ability to motivate cross functional groups to common goals
- Ability to build relationships with customers adding value to the process
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Full-Time position in Rogers, AR office
- Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees after 90-day onboarding period
- Travel 10%
- This position is not eligible for relocation assistance
