Associate Manager, Accounting (Record To Report - Front Office)

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role belongs to the Shared Services Americas organization and reports to the Record to Report and Accounts Payable Manager. It is responsible for leading a team of accounting analysts focused on planning, coordinating and controlling accounting and month-end close activities across assigned clusters. It ensures compliance with Corporate and Accounting policies, timely and accurate reporting, and strong collaboration with local Finance and Supply Chain Finance teams.

The role also collaborates in strengthening digital, analytical and process‑excellence capabilities within the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of four analysts
  • Manage month‑end close coordination, P&L analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate Account Reconciliation of assigned accounts.
  • Provide Accounting / USGAAP support and ensure compliance with SOX/SOAR controls.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering trust, collaboration and inclusion.
  • Translate organizational objectives into clear operational plans and team priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and end‑to‑end process excellence using Lean/OPEX methodologies.
  • Collaborate in digital transformation initiatives by identifying and sharing opportunities to automate tasks and optimize processes through technology.
  • Promote data‑driven decision-making ensuring data integrity and adherence to governance standards.
  • Strengthen customer experience by monitoring feedback and leading long‑term improvements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Auditing, Costing and/or Taxes
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, auditing and internal controls.
  • Strong SAP, BPC and MS Office skills.
  • English proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing teams, developing talent and driving change.
  • Experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives in Finance or GBS.
  • Strong analytical mindset using data and digital tools to optimize processes.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • High attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
  • Experience with Lean / OPEX / Six Sigma.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with proven impact in service improvements.
  • Ability to lead teams through change and dynamic environments.

  • Full-Time
  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
  • This role is not eligible for relocation.
