Supply Chain Job ID: 33667KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage, reconcile, and monitor inventory balances under IMMEX and CIVA, including inventory-control system administration, regularizations, monthly submaquila reporting, intercompany inventory transfers, fixed assets, and supporting records.
• Coordinate and monitor import and export operations across different traffic types, ensuring accurate and timely execution and follow-up.
• Review and authorize customs entries (pedimentos), purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, electronic value declarations (MVE), and other required documentation for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican foreign trade laws and regulations, company policies, and documented procedures; identify, escalate, and mitigate potential risks before execution.
• Manage and analyze requirements and obligations related to IMMEX, CIVA, PROSEC, CTPAT, Rule 8, Certificates of Compliance, and applicable permits from COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT, SENER, and other authorities, including dual-use and hydrocarbon/petroleum requirements.
• Assess new products for tariff classification, customs costing, and origin qualification, and support the issuance and maintenance of certificates of origin under applicable trade agreements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in International Trade, Logistics, Customs, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in foreign trade, import/export operations, customs, or trade compliance in Mexico; at least 1 year preferred.
• Intermediate English proficiency (required) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
• Knowledge of SAP and foreign trade inventory-control software.
• Working knowledge of IMMEX, CIVA, PROSEC, and Mexican customs requirements.
• Experience with tariff classification, origin qualification, and certificates of origin.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret data and documentation.
• Proactive ownership, independent execution, and effective prioritization across multiple deadlines.
