Senior Analyst Demand Planning

Overview

At SC Johnson, our Demand Planning team plays a critical role in shaping the demand signal that guides our entire supply chain. Using insights from sales, marketing, finance, and market dynamics, we createaccurateforecasts that ensure the right products meet the right consumers at the right time.

We are looking for aDemand Planning Senior Analystto join our Southern Cluster team in Arese. In this role, you will own the demand planning process for a country and/or product-category portfolio, act as a central link between commercial teams and supply chain, and contribute to strategic projects in a dynamic, multicultural FMCG environment.

About the Role

This positionis responsible fordeveloping, managing, and communicating the demand plan, using advanced systems and data inputs to produce the mostaccurateforecast possible. You will analyze performance,identifydeviations, recommend actions, and collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to support business decisions.

About the Team

You will join theSouthern Cluster Demand Planning team, reporting to theAssociate Manager, Demand Planning.The team works cross‑functionally across the region and plays a key strategic role in ensuring end‑to‑end supply chain alignment.You’llinteract with many functions and gain broad visibility into the business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain andoptimizedemand planning systems to produce high‑quality forecasts using established processes.
  • Collect and analyze demand inputs such as distribution changes, pricing, new product launches, discontinuations, and promotional plans.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to evaluate advertising and promotional activities, including expected uplift, cannibalization, and risks/opportunities.
  • Support cross‑functional projects including new product launches, transitions, and pipeline volumes.
  • Provide clear,timelydemand forecasts with documented assumptions, confidence levels, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct forecast error and bias analysis,identifyingroot causes and aligning cross‑functional teams to fill gaps.
  • Monitor key process metrics, performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning process.

ExperienceYou’llBring

  • Minimum2 years of experiencein Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or related business roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with demand planning systems and forecasting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in S&OP or cross‑functional planning processes.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel; good knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and/or Access.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in theFMCG industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP and S&OP processes.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Strong data analysis skills linked to business KPIs and performance management.
  • Understanding offinance, marketing, sales processes, and customer dynamics.
